Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG)

Training and Information

The new Protecting Vulnerable Group (PVG) scheme was introduced on 28th February 2011.   It replaced the existing disclosure process and organisations with volunteers or paid staff who work with children, provide health or care services to adults, or provide any other services for vulnerable groups are required to determine whether an applicant for paid or unpaid work is suitable to join the PVG Scheme.
