Young Carers Project

A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without this help due to illness, disability, mental ill-health or a substance misuse problem. If you care for someone in this way help is available to you. Shetland Young Carers Group meets every two weeks at the Bruce Family Centre, Lovers Loan, Lerwick. The group offers support, the chance to meet with other young people and to take part in activities and trips of your choice.
