Voar Redd-up
On Sunday 22nd April a team of Sunday School children, teachers and other volunteers from the congregation travelled to Nesbister Beach, South Whiteness to do their bit for the annual Voar Redd-up. The Voar (Spring) Redd-up, which is organised each spring by Shetland Amenity Trust, encourages volunteers from all over Shetland to help clean up our beaches and roadside verges. The 'bruck' collected by our team of hardy volunteers is seen in the photo. Thanks to all who turned out on a rather wet and windy Sunday to help.
