Why Volunteer?

Join Disability Shetland as a volunteer. Without volunteers Disability Shetland’s clubs could not function.

You can volunteer for any of our clubs. These are as follows:-

• Recreation Clubs

• Wednesday Club

• Saturday Clubs

• All Stars Football Club

• Wootton Lass

All our volunteers are fully trained and receive a certificate to confirm the skills they learn through our training.  All volunteers are PVG checked.  All volunteers are supervised and supported by the Disability Shetland staff team while they are volunteering for us.

Also if you are aged between 16 - 25 you will be able to sign up for the MV Awards.  The MV Awards are run through Voluntary Action Shetland  Gwen Williamson can be contacted on 01595743911.
