Gutcher Terminal (Yell)
There is no segregation of vehicles and pedestrians on the shore ramp. The waiting room is situated 103 metres from the ferry ramp via a tarred access road which is shared with vehicles. There are 2 steps to the waiting room which has bench seats without arm rests. The waiting room is not heated. There are 2 steps to the male toilets and 1 shallow step to the female toilets. Neither are suitable for wheelchairs. Grab rails are fitted to all entrances which have steps. Immediately adjacent to the terminal building is the “Wind Dog Café.” This café has ramped access although there is a 55mm threshold at the main door so wheelchair users may require assistance.
