Youth Employment Project -
This project will offer the young people of the North Isles an opportunity to:-

Gain experience and skills

Enhance their knowledge and understanding of employability skills.

Produce positive attitudes towards the world of work and business

Develop social and core skills and build confidence

Provide training on relevant topics relating to work, business and entrepreneurship
A series of training sessions not usually available to North Isles young folk will take place during 2006-2008.
A learning package to encourage entrepreneurship in young adults to take place during 2006-2008.
A group of young people from all 3 Islands in the North Isles will work together to build their confidence and skill base, and therefore increase their employability prospects.
The young folk from all 3 islands will be working together on all aspects of the training courses provided.
Study and training for entrepreneurship for young adults will include businesses, social enterprises and development groups.
This will include the following courses:-
Momentum training
Babysitting
Outdoor activities
First Aid training
Life skills-Budgeting, cooking etc.
Music equipment & Workshop
Entrepreneur training courses
Learning journeys
