Latest news from the Community Mediation Team;- 2011
Alyson attended a web update trainng session which means the website will now be interestingly interactive! Towards the end of last week we interviewed prospective new volunteers for the CMT project.
We are delighted to announce that we have recruited 4 new volunteers!
We are looking forward to introducing these new volunteers to the existing team in the very new future.
We will now have to jump through several administrative hoops before we can use the volunteers fully, these include;
- Checking references
- Disclosure checking
- Training in Community Mediation and Restorative Justice
- General training regarding the way we work.
We are very sad to lose one of our existing volunteers, Buddy, who has been a huge help to us in our work. He is heading abroad for a while but knows there is always a place on this team for him on his return.
