Shoot Information

10th July 2010 - 100ABT. Postal entries  

11th July 2010 - 100DTL. As above

Each shoot will be run as a registered shoot and ALL shooters will be shooting as individuals in their class for prizes.  Any score shot either day may be taken as a score for Scottish Team Qualification and will be automatically included for classification.

Please e-mail Daviepw@aol.com as soon as possible with a number of shooters or teams of 5 you will be sending, this will help us plan the event.

All teams must pre-enter by 31st May 2010.

You can enter either as an individual who would like to shoot in a team (all these entries will be drawn for squadding) or as a full or part team which will be topped up to make full squads.

Teams should be made up of a maximum of five members

Teams must shoot both days of competition in the same squad

Team members must be current members of Highland Deephaven CPC, Shetland CTC, Orkney CTC, Skye CTC, Uist CTC, Harris CTC or Lewis CTC.  No entries will be accepted from any other teams.

The top 4 scores each day will be counted and added together for a total out of 400 for the ABT and 1200 for the DTL.

The two scores will be added together for the overall team event (ex 1600)

Medals

There will be medals for each team member winning any of the above trophies.  These medals are for keeping, but ALL trophies have to be returned for the following year.

Saturday Night

The meal out  will be held at the .......................................... at 19:00 on Saturday 10th July 2010.  The meal will be £20 per head and spouses, partners and non-team shooters are all welcome, but we will need to know numbers by 31st May.  Please indicate how many people are to attend the meal on your entry form

You are advised to book accommodation early as there is limited accommodation in Shetland during the summer.

Travel again needs to be booked well in advance http://www.flybe.com/ or http://www.northlinkferries.co.uk/ .Island residents will be able to get discounted travel on Flybe using the Air discount scheme.

Note for all travel you will have to inform the carrier in advance that you will be carrying a gun. Extra time is needed at check in to fill in paper work for your gun and you must have your shotgun certificate with you.

Ammunition will be available to purchase at the ground.
