Train Shetland

Train Shetland was formed in July 2002 to streamline the services offered to the public. It has two main areas in which it operates: Vocational Training in the form of Skillseekers and Modern Apprenticeships and Short Courses.

NAFC Marine Centre

The NAFC Marine Centre carries out a wide range of activities related to the fisheries and maritime industries, including training and education, research and development, environmental and quality monitoring, and advice and management. NAFC is an academic partner in the UHI Millennium Institute.

Shetland Fisheries Training Association

Work closely with the seafood industry to identify training needs at management and operative level.
